Jochen Zeitz is the President and CEO of Harley-Davidson, Inc., and Chairman of the Harley-Davidson Board of Directors. He has served as board member since 2007 and established the company's Brand and Sustainability Committee.
Previously, Zeitz served as Chairman and CEO of the sporting goods company PUMA from 1993 to 2011. He was also PUMA's CFO from 1993 to 2005. Zeitz oversaw a transformation of PUMA from near bankruptcy into one of the top three sporting goods brands in the world over his 18-year leadership.
After PUMA’s acquisition by the luxury goods brand Kering (formerly PPR), Zeitz served as director of Kering from 2012 to 2016. He was also a member of Kering's executive committee and CEO of its Sport & Lifestyle division from 2010 to 2012.
Studying in Europe and the United States, Zeitz graduated from the European Business School (EBS) with a degree in Business, International Marketing and Finance.
Zeitz also serves as a board member of The B Team, which he co-founded with Sir Richard Branson, the Cranemere Group and KWS. He is also co-founder of Zeitz MOCAA, founder of the ZEITZ Foundation, Segera Conservancy & Retreat and The Long Run.
